Blackwood RFC is looking for players for the 2007/08 season. Whether you have any Rugby experience or not, here at Blackwood we would like to hear from you.

Training will start in July, date to be fixed.

The first session will involve general fitness and diet and to present this part of the session, ex British ladies champion swimmer Sarah Borley will give advice on your needs. Head coach, is Katherine Naylor, for your security and safety and to keep up your fitness levels to a required standard, Katherine is also our fitness coach and mentor. Helping Katherine is Andrew, twenty years experience in the game and will be general coach.

If you are not interested in playing there are other roles you can play, for example, team manager, responsible to the head coach and your role will involve kit, the team itself and the well being of the team. Do you have a first aid certificate, would like to join the team on a Saturday, a female physiotherapist, or first aider would be a great asset to the team. Are you money minded, would like to raise funds for the ladies, for travel, for kit and for tours. Could you be our treasurer/sponsorship member?
