Write Up:	Blackwood under 8 played Tredegar at home today which turned out to be a very good game. Well done to one of the Tredegar boys who is only 6 but scores all their tries and was well received in the match. At kick off straight away we had our usual few who ran up and forced the pressure but tredegar were running off with out their tags leaving our boys running after them resulting in them scoring. We restarted but our boys were running back and forth and not passing until they got tagged so didnt get very far before turning the ball over and allowing the visitors to score again. This woke the side and we did start to pick up. After putting Cian and Matthew to pin down the Tredegar attckers we started to turn ball over. Cal put in some fantastic little runs and offloads to score some great tries. We did have a few players standing out as Cian, Matthew and Dan were doing the tagging and Rhyd and Cal were doing the scoring. In the last quarter both teams really stared to set their lines forcing both teams to play the ball. Final Score 10 - 6. After the game the Tredegar coaches came in the club and thanked us for our hospitality and a good game.
